This is the start of something wonderful. A place where the descendants of Jorgen Johannes and Jensine Jensen Johannessen can visit to learn of our rich family heritage. To share their own family histories, and encourage others to search out their own.
Also where we as the Johannessen descendants can plan our reunions, and network to improve these gatherings.

Enjoyed reading about my great-great-great...(not sure how many greats)grandparent. Thanks for putting this together so all the Johannessen descendants can learn about their ancestors. My second great grandfather was Anders Johannessen and You showed me that he came over as a Mormon Missionary.

Niels was father of Carl Elmer Johnson, my grandfather.
